This educational symposium seeks to unpack the impact of the evolving policy and quality landscape for cardiovascular and heart failure stakeholders.
The fast pace of recent policy evolution introduces new opportunities to augment access to care, particularly for rural and underserved communities. New programs introduced under the Inflation Reduction Act, such as the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan, will improve medication affordability for Part D beneficiaries, which may particularly benefit individuals managing chronic conditions like heart failure. In tandem, CMS continues to refine its provider and plan incentive programs to improve outcomes for patients with heart failure, reduce healthcare costs, and promote access to high-quality care for those most at risk.
